THE CHALLENGE
When the City of Bridgeport sought to attract new businesses to foster economic growth while promoting the city as a sustainable place to live and visit, we worked alongside the Mayor's Communications Team to develop the "Plant Yourself in Bridgeport" campaign. This initiative encouraged businesses to establish themselves in Bridgeport by highlighting the city's opportunities, resources, and thriving community. The Plant Yourself campaign also featured green living initiatives and plentiful parks to attract residents and visitors.
OUR SOLUTION
We crafted messaging that resonated with entrepreneurs and developers, positioning Bridgeport as a place where businesses could take root and flourish. Through strategic branding, digital marketing, and social media mirroring, we ensured the campaign reached specific B2B and residential audiences — reinforcing Bridgeport's strengths: its housing stock, parks, transportation access, location, and commitment to sustainability. For the campaign, we utilized social mirroring to extend reach beyond traditional social platforms — replicating social content as display ads across websites and apps to ensure a seamless, consistent brand experience targeting key demographics in Connecticut and New York.
RESULTS
By leveraging a mix of creative storytelling, video production, and digital content, we helped the City of Bridgeport showcase its potential as a business-friendly and move-in-ready environment. The "Plant Yourself In Bridgeport" campaign achieved 1 million impressions, effectively reaching audiences beyond social media. By mirroring content across high-traffic sites and tailoring placements by zip code, we amplified awareness and strengthened connections with potential residents and businesses looking to grow in Bridgeport.
